With the impressive thermal insulation for a VIG (U value – 0.49 W/m2K), being superior to that of either a double glazed A-rated unit (U value – 1.47 W/m2K) or a triple gas filled glazing option (U value – 0.81 W/m2K), PassivGlas™ vacuum glazing units enable a new build property to control the internal conditions, thus reducing reliance on temperature control systems.
